Recreating the most famous failure in spaceflight, this Apollo 13 service module shows the moment after the oxygen tank burst. One whole bay panel is missing, revealing a tangle of tanks, pipes and wiring packed inside the open sector. The rest of the cylindrical hull is covered in riveted panels, hatches and small radiator details, with the flared engine bell at one end and a smooth domed heat shield at the other. Small reaction control blocks stick out from the sides. It makes a striking piece for a space history shelf, a desk next to other rocket models, or a classroom lesson on the mission.
